2022 Large Group Festival Information
Here is the list of festivals planned for 2022.

We are hoping that we will be able to move forward as planned. Here are a few things to keep in mind.

• Everyone must understand that we will have to be extremely flexible. Due to the unpredictability of planning such events, please realize that days/schedules are subject to change. Please be patient and kind to Site Hosts.

• As always, groups may perform for ratings or comments only.

• Festival fees are $200 per ensemble. If you have questions about a fee credit from 2020, please contact Rob Bentley.

• In the event of a festival cancellation you will be refunded your registration fee. If you must cancel your performance, your registration fee will be refunded.

• CMEA Central Section firmly believes in the value of Sight Reading at our Large Group Festivals but is giving Directors the choice of a clinic following their performance by one of the adjudicators or a traditional Sight Reading Clinic in 2022. We will resume our Sight Reading expectation for all groups in 2023. Sight Reading will not be offered at the CMEA Jazz Festivals.

• For those directors unable to attend a large group festival in 2022 who are interested in having one of our clinicians come to their campus for a clinic, please contact Rob Bentley
